A Week In Italia

what with one thing and another a week has gone by and I haven't written a word.

It is Sunday morning in Rome and the sun is finally shining. We arrived here on New Year's day and it rained every day since. Of course it hasn't kept us inside but it has meant more zigging and zagging and bobbing and weaving as we navigate the narrow streets and avoid everyone's umbrellas.

We celebrated the New Year in Florence with a 4 course dinner at a local restaurant run by a family of Puliese. (I have no clue if that is the correct spelling). But being paesanos (just taking another spelling stab) got us kisses on both cheeks, dances with Giovanni, Luccia and various other relatives and workstaff. Emelia doesn't do a thing for me in Paris but it sure works wonders in Italia.

Finally. I was looking for my Emmy fix. You must be having a spectacular time, just like you manifested. I miss you, but I am glad you are doing this wonderful thing.

Hi Emelia,

Happy New Year to all!

I am using Mel's ID since I don't have one.

We had a nice Christmas with the family.

12/27 was Marian's funeral; a sad day.

We celebrated New Year's at the Belmar Fishing Club with Brenda and friends.

Your time seems like such fun. Miss you.
