Take a look at those veggies. You’ve never seen anything like that in the USA.
These are the original organics. Only eat what’s in season.
More to come soon. Pat is sitting by my side being a real bb and telling me how I have to arrange this blog. I’d throw her out except she’s the only one in this group who can really read a map
Talk later….

Looks like you found your way into Campo dei Fiori. Brava Emelia, brava. Always go in the morning when it smells less fishy & buy some flowers from Patrizio's stand - the big one to the left (if you have your back to the hideous statue of Bruno, which you should always do).

BTW, throw out the map, and go get lost thoroughly lost. As long as you stay inside the walls and don't cross the Father Tiber, you can't go too far and it's the best way to learn Rome and find fun stuff.
Tip: Best Bakeries: Jewish Quarter, especially day before Sabbath. find the Turtle Fountain (my favorite). Kev

Your photos are inspiring. I hope you are having a great time. Hey, who did the artwork on the walls below your apartment...I think I saw their work in the subway at the N train!

Rusty pots! Gosh... I hope you found a solution to that problem. Maybe Sergio will bring some of his pots or meals over...LOL

Keep 'em coming.

What is a BB? Beautiful Babe? Bouncing Biddie? Bra Burner? Your vernacular is fresh and new and you are stinkin' funny, but you lost me on that one. Does Aunt Pat know what that is? Maybe she thinks your an A H.

As far as not understanding what the hell people are saying to you and nodding in response to avoid looking, well, foreign, be careful! While in Hawaii a mumbling, cardboard box inhabitant, was talking to my group and everyone just nodded. Thank the lord I speak mumble because the woman was asking to use our hotel rooms to shower...getting 5 offers!

Smaller Emelia checks your blog daily...will teach her how to comment...that should be interesting.
